This presentation is about how we move from powerful AI models to practical, enterprise-grade cognitive systems.

In the first part, we introduce our MCP framework and explain how it dramatically lowers the barrier to entry for AI. By allowing anyone to expose system capabilities using familiar tools like Python, SQL, or Blue Yonder MOCA — and by describing intent in plain English — we remove the inertia that has traditionally kept enterprise systems out of the AI world. The result is simple: if you can explain what your system does, you can make it AI-ready.

In the second part, we take the next natural step. We show how MCP evolves from exposing individual systems to exposing enterprise-level business services. Instead of forcing AI to reason across fragmented system views, we present a unified, semantic layer that represents how the business actually thinks — orders, inventory, commitments, and plans. This is where AI stops being an assistant and starts functioning as a cognitive system.
