SUMMARY:Propel Oshkosh Young Professionals: Professional Development Fall Series Session 2
DESCRIPTION:Join us for the second of three sessions with UWO\, featuring Andy Miller\, UWO Teaching Assistant Professor. This session will help participants understand why people may resist organizational change and how leaders can respond effectively. Resistance is a natural part of organizational change\, but understanding its causes can help leaders respond more effectively. This seminar explores why people resist change and the factors that influence their response. Participants will learn practical strategies for addressing resistance\, building engagement\, and supporting individuals as they move through change. Through examples and discussion\, participants will connect these concepts to change initiatives within their own organizations. This session will be held on September 22 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Culver Family Welcome Center. If you attend all three sessions\, you'll earn a digital badge! This event is free for Propel members and UWO students\, while non-members can attend for $10. Lunch is included.
